The Lemonade Diet is also known as the Master Cleanse Diet, this is a very simple diet plan which will produce results but should only be used for a short period of time, all you need to do is to drink between 60 and 120 ounces of lemonade each day which should always be made with freshly squeezed lemons, you also need to drink lots of water because the lemonade will act as a laxative and it will make you dehydrated, you should drink one ounce of water for each pound that you weigh and do that every day that you are on the diet.
Detox diets such as the Master Cleanse diet are not the safest form of weight loss as they may result in nutrient deficiencies and lack of protein, which could result in a wasting of muscle tissue due to insufficient amino acids, if you do try the lemonade diet then only do so for a short period of time and it would be advisable to consult your Doctor before starting it. Depending on your body size you can drink between six and twelve glasses of this drink each day, the most popular recipe is the maple syrup lemonade diet and it is made as follows.
* 2 Tablespoon of lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
* 1/10 Teaspoon of cayenne pepper (or just a pinch)
* 2 Tablespoon of real maple syrup
* 9 oz. water
This will make one glass of the drink, the cayenne pepper is very important and the maple syrup should be organic grade B for you to get the best results, you can afford the best because you won’t be buying any other food whilst you are on this diet and you will spend a lot of time on the toilet.
