* Every morning have a glass of warm water with some fresh lemon juice in it.

* Make sure you have your five portions of fruit and veg a day

* You can eat normal meals but eat little and often and include some lemon

* When you have bread, rice or pasta use the brown or wholegrain not white

* Don’t eat saturated fat, eat good fat like, omega 3 & 6, nuts, seeds, oily fish

* Eat plenty of fibre, peas and beans are good for this

* Eat slowly, if you take lots of time over your meal you will eat less

The Lemon Juice Diet will kick start your digestive system and its easy to follow just eat a low fat diet and add a bit of lemon to each meal plus a glass of warm water with lemon juice each morning.

Studies indicate that lemons help you to loose weight in a number of ways, a US study found that the pectin in lemons eliminates the urge to eat for as long as four hours and also helps to balance blood sugar levels by preventing your body from absorbing sugar too quickly. Lemon juice will also make your digestive system more acidic which helps cells to burn off fat.
